Altrusa International of Downtown Dallas, Inc. is a non-profit service organization that assists women, children, and veterans experiencing hunger and homelessness, combats illiteracy, and supports survivors of sexual violence, human trafficking, and domestic abuse in the Dallas Metroplex area.  The club is a member of Altrusa International, Inc., an international non-profit service organization for civic-minded people who volunteer their time and expertise to create better communities worldwide. 

The club’s associated foundation, Altrusa International of Downtown Dallas Foundation, Inc., is a humanitarian, philanthropic organization that enjoys charitable non-profit status.

A shout out to all the all wonderful Altrusans and friends who turned out to make bagged meals for the Stewpot! We made 300 meals to help feed hungry people over the long Labor Day weekend when the Bridge kitchen was closed.
